Raking Leaves? Bring Them To 6/15 Green

Did you know that leaves left on the curb for garbage collection just end up in a landfill? Our red and golden beauties shouldn’t have to rot away next to stinky old diapers! Pack your leaves up and head over to 6/15 Green (corner of 6th Avenue and 15th Street), where they will be collected and turned into valuable compost for the community garden.

Leaves (in clear plastic or brown bags) will be accepted on Saturday, November 16, 23, 30, and December 7, between the hours of 11am and 1pm. Please note that bags should not be dropped outside of the gate, or the garden will receive a ticket. Twigs, trash and branches should also be removed, and only residential leaves are permitted.
