In a rush, but looking for something tasty? Stop by Corner of Vermont and grab one of their many maple flavored items.

We love the Vermonter hot dog ($5.25), which is topped with maple mustard, maple caramelized onions, and a sprinkle of maple sugar. It’s a great mix of sweet and savory.

If you want something a bit more substantial, consider their pulled pork sandwich for $8.75. The pork is rubbed with cumin, ginger powder, garlic, maple sugar and vinegar and slow roasted for 8 hours. It comes with the house made maple barbecue sauce and Dijon cole slaw.

Wash it all down with a drink from the 1700s, the Switchel ($3.75/$4.50). Made with maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, powdered ginger, and water, the Switchel is our new favorite summertime drink.

Top of your meal with something sweet. Try a Maple Cremee, which is one of our favorite cool treats in the neighborhood! And don’t forget to pick up all the maple products you could need.

Corner of Vermont, located at 374 5th Avenue, is open from 11am-10pm Sunday through Thursday and from 11am-11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
