Police arrested a man for the second time on Thursday after he briefly escaped custody at Coney Island Hospital and fled down the street, the New York Post reports.

Police first arrested 29-year-old William Casado around 4am for violating an order of protection. He was taken to the 60th precinct and charged with criminal contempt, according to the paper.

The Post writes:

Hours later, Casado began complaining to cops that he was in pain and needed medical attention, so officers took him to Coney Island Hospital for treatment, according to police.
While the officers were guarding him, Casado asked to go to the bathroom, cops said. But as they accompanied him, the prisoner pushed past them and made a break for it.
Casado made it out the front door and ran about three blocks before cops caught up with him and apprehended him a second time.

Casado was additionally charged with resisting arrest and trespassing, according to the Post.
