Prepare For A Wait On The Late Night G


Good morning, South Slope. We appear to have dodged a bullet with this latest snowstorm, but note that alternate side parking is suspended on Monday, March 3 to facilitate snow removal. Meters are still in effect, though, so don’t forget to feed the muni.

If you’re hitting the rails this week, the late night G is going to be slow going, and Fastrack work takes over the N, R and Q lines:

G Trains run every 20 minutes
Late Nights, beginning 11 PM, Mon to Thu, until Mar 27
Please allow additional travel time.

No N trains in Manhattan, Q Trains are rerouted in Manhattan, and R Service ends early in Queens, Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
Late Nights, 10 PM to 5 AM, Mon to Fri, Mar 3 – 7
N Service operates in two sections: Between Stillwell Av and Court St, making local stops, and between Queensboro Plaza and Ditmars Blvd.

Q Service operates between Stillwell Av and DeKalb Av, and is rerouted as follows: Via the D between DeKalb Av and 47-50 Sts, and via the F to/from 57 St.

R Service operates in Brooklyn between 95 St and 36 St.

Astoria-bound N trains run local from 59 St, Brooklyn to DeKalb Av
Evenings, beginning 8:30 PM, Mon to Thu, Mar 3 – 6  •  Mar 10 – 13

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn

No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
