Pratt Station Post Office To Reopen Tuesday, February 17

“I’ve been standin’ here waitin’ Mister Postman / So patiently. . . ”
The Marvelettes’ “Please Mr. Postman”

The wait is over: tomorrow at 9am will mark the grand reopening of the Pratt Station Post Office at its new location at 609 Myrtle Avenue (between Taaffe and Kent Avenues on the Clinton Hill/Bed-Stuy border).

The new location is a few blocks east from the old one at 504-524 Myrtle Avenue, which closed on October 25 after the land was sold to a developer who will transform it into a mixed-use commercial-residential tower that will also house a reopened Associated Supermarket and TD Bank.

According to an email letter sent out by Brooklyn Postmaster Edward Roggenkamp, the station’s hours will be as follows:

Retail Window Counter Hours:
Monday thru Friday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Saturday: 9:00AM – 1:00PM
Post Office Box Service Hours:
