Police Seek Suspect In May 1 Shooting On Flatbush Avenue & Lenox Road


The 70th Precinct is looking for a young man they say shot a peer May 1 near the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Lenox Road.

Cops say the incident, in which a 16-year-old by was shot, occurred at about 3:43pm. The shooter, described as a 5’8″-5’10” tall black man with his hair in a ponytail, is also suspected to be somewhere between 16 and 18 years old.

There is a potential $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the shooter. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting your tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. The NYPD says all calls are confidential.
