Police Seek Suspect in F Train Robbery
The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man they say threw a 61-year-old woman to the ground and took off with her purse at the Church Avenue F train stop. The robbery took place on Tuesday, January 22 at about 6:20am, and the suspect fled the subway station in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a black man who’s about 5’09” and was wearing a black waist length coat and a black hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting your tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. The NYPD says all calls are confidential.
