Police Seek Help Locating Missing Woman

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who lives nearby who was last seen yesterday evening.

Police say 46-year-old Aixa Lewis was last seen leaving her home on 28th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenues, on Thursday, December 4 at 10pm.

She is described as 5’7″ tall and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. When she left her home, police say she was wearing a black sweater and blue sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s crime stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the crime stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
