Police Seek Help Identifying Alleged Subway Pervert

The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted for a forcible touching incident on the subway.

On Monday, August 5, at 6:30pm, police say a woman was riding the 4 train near Atlantic Avenue when a man allegedly rubbed his penis against her. Authorities say that when the train got to the Franklin Avenue stop, the suspect fled.

The victim managed to snap this photo of the suspect, who is described as a man in his 50s who is about 5’10” tall and weighs about 250 pounds.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting your tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. The NYPD says all calls are confidential.
