Police Seek Avenue I Subway Robber

The 66th Precinct is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who threatened a woman with a gun, then stole her wallet at the Avenue I subway station last Saturday, September 7.

The 62-year-old victim was walking on the northbound platform, cops say, when she passed the suspect, who was sitting on a bench. The suspect tried to steal her bag, then threatened her with a gun when she screamed. The suspect, described as an approximately 5’7″ man in his 30s, then took her wallet and fled the subway station.
