Police Searching For Missing Sheepshead Bay Woman

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 27-year-old Sheepshead Bay woman who went missing more than a week ago.

The NYPD says Aliyah Boomer, who lives at the Nostrand Houses near the intersection of Batchelder Street and Avenue W, was last seen on August 16 in front of a building at 444 Columbia Street in Red Hook.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
