Police Release Video Of Newkirk Plaza Bank Robber

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in the video above who robbed a Newkirk Plaza bank branch on March 5th.

The man entered the Chase Bank at Newkirk Plaza around 11am on Saturday, March 5th and approached a teller with a note demanding money. The teller complied, police said, and the suspect fled the bank with $2,000.

The suspected bank robber is described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall, and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black cap and a black and white scarf with stars.
