Plant Daffodils in Ditmas Park

It’s time to get your hands dirty. The FDC is organizing the Green Corridors Initiative, a project aimed at planting daffodils in public spaces throughout the neighborhood.

We want to brighten our days with a touch of beauty along everyday routes: our walks to the train, trips to the grocery store, walking the kids to school, or dropping clothes at the dry cleaners.

The first community planting event takes place on Saturday, October 20 but the project also encourages individuals to work independently by offering bulbs from the FDC office at 1616 Newkirk Avenue.
