During a Brooklyn Nets game where Prince William and Kate Middleton were in attendance, protests took place both inside — by some of the players — and out in reaction to the Staten Island grand jury’s decision not to indict an NYPD officer in the death of Eric Garner. It’s not the first night traffic was tied up on Flatbush Avenue as protesters gathered, and it seems like it may not be the last — what looks like it will be a pretty massive march (38,000 people have said yes to the Facebook invite) is scheduled to begin at Washington Square Park at 2pm this Saturday, December 13.
