The FDNY reports an unidentified person was struck at about 8:40am, and was taken to Lutheran Hospital in stable condition.
People on the train posted to Twitter and Instagram, noting that the train was emptied, and that the person was removed from under the subway train by firefighters.
After a brief delay, the MTA says R trains are running normally at this time.
