Permits Filed For Final Building In Myrtle Avenue Development Master Plan

The Myrtle Avenue area skyline is about to change again with the construction of a 32-story tower at 86 Fleet Place, according to New York YIMBY. The forthcoming structure is depicted in the rendering above as the tall, thin blue building right of center.

The site says 86 Fleet Place–which will be the final building in the Red Apple Group‘s Myrtle Avenue Development Master Plan–is set to rise 364 feet, putting it much closer in height to Toren next door than to other plan developments The Giovanni (81 Fleet Place), The Andrea (218 Myrtle Avenue), or 180 Myrtle Avenue (which is currently under construction).

NYY says 86 Fleet will feature 191 rental units with an average size of 2,000 sq ft (totaling 384,239 sq ft of residential space), as well as 10,619 sq ft of retail space on the ground floor. The building has been designed by Dattner Architects.
