Passover Events in Ditmas Park

Passover, the holiday that commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt, begins the evening of Monday, March 26, and two synagogues in our area are hosting events:

Second-Night Community Seder
Temple Beth Emeth, 83 Marlborough Rd
Tuesday, March 25
The seder includes a full kosher-style meal, catered by Tastebud Events, the company owned by Chelsi and Graham Meyerson, who used to own Picket Fence. The haggadah used is called “The Open Door,” and “is a modern, accessible, interesting way to experience the Passover seder,” says Rabbi Heidi Hoover, who lead the seder with their cantor, Nonie Schuster Donato. The cost is $50 per person.
