Park Slope Stoop Sales: September 20-21


It’s still stoop sale season! With a nice, cool weekend ahead of us, this should be a good one take a walk and find some bargains in the neighborhood. Here are a few that are coming up:

Where: 426 5th Street, between 6th & 7th Avenues
When: Saturday, September 20, 9am-1pm
What: If you’ve got a fast-growing teen, this is the sale you should hit up, as they’ll have lots of teen clothing, including jeans in sizes 1, 3, and 5. They’ll also have some furniture, books for kids and adults, antique light fixtures and hardware, and more.

Where: 936 President Street, between 8th Avenue & PPW
When: Saturday, September 20, starts at 10:30am
What: They’re moving, so they’re getting rid of a lot — from a Cuisinart blender to “Objects D’Art from around the world.” And you can outfit your own new place with furniture including a futon and bookcases, pots and pans, and more.

Where: Park Place, between 6th & 7th Avenues
When: Saturday, September 20, 11am-5pm
What: They’ll have a never-used new electric fondue pot (just like the rest of us, amiright?), a DVD player, lots of XL women’s clothing, stuff for kids including girls clothing (sizes 8, 10, 12), craft kids, toys, games, books, and more.

Where: Prospect Park West between 9th & 10th Streets
When: Sunday, September 21, starts at 10am
What: The prime destination for your little reader, as they’re promising hundred of children’s books for sale. Plus, look for more kids stuff like clothing for girls (sizes 5-7) and boys (sizes 10 and up), toys, and more.
