Park Slope Stoop Sales: August 23-24
It’s stoop sale season! With a nice, cool weekend ahead of us, and because it’s the end of the month (which means folks moving and looking to unload), this should be a good one take a walk and find some bargains in the neighborhood. Here are a few that are coming up:
Where: 853 President Street, between 7th & 8th Avenues
When: Saturday, August 23, starts at 8am
What: They’re moving and unloading, which means lots of kitchen stuff — a set of Farberware pots and pans, dishes, a blender — and furniture including a couch, chairs, and more.
Where: President Street, between 5th & 6th Avenues
When: Saturday, August 23, 10am-4pm
What: A little bit of everything, from furniture including a desk and a bed, household stuff like a fan and a vacuum cleaner, backpacks, clothing, jewelry, kitchen items, and more.
Where: 1st Street at 5th Avenue
When: Saturday, August 23, 11am-1pm
What: Mostly household items — like a flatscreen television, a desk, chairs, a microwave, and an air conditioner — but also a pregnant mannequin.
Where: 1st Street between 5th & 6th Avenues
When: Sunday, August 24, starts at 10am
What: All kinds of clothing for boys, from sizes 0-3 through 4T, plus clothing for women and other kids stuff like books and toys.
