Cooking Demonstration With Jacques Gautier

What: The chef behind Palo Santo and the new Taco Santo will demonstrate the culinary versatility of fresh masa, so you can learn how to make tortillas (and more) at home. The best thing though: You’ll get to taste what he makes during the demo.

The Crate Robber Series

What: The first in a new monthly DJ series featuring vintage tropical music from around the world. First up is Vik Sohonie spinning vintage French Caribbean music.

Mighty Teen Jazz Big Band

What: The Mighty Teen Jazz Big Band is the centerpiece of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music’s Teen Jazz Program. Hear students come together as a large and dynamic ensemble to bring jazz standards and other repertoire to life.

What: See the New York City-based documentary that took 13 years to make, as parents Joe Brewster and Michèle Stephenson, middle-class African-American parents in Brooklyn, turned their cameras on their son, Idris, and his best friend, Seun, as the boys made their way through school.
