Congregation B’nai Jacob and Chabad of Park Slope rolled out the red carpet last night for the dedication of The William and Betty Katz Center for Jewish Life, located at 292 15th Street.

The new building houses three facilities, The Park Slope Mikvah, described on the center’s website as “a pool of natural water specifically designed for the purpose of ritual purification,” The Men’s Mikvah, and the Rabbi Jacob J. Hecht Hospitality Suites, which serves as both a temporary residence for those visiting family members in the community, and as a conference center.
