Park Slope Apartment Rental Roundup

There’s a new kid on the block. As the boys back home would say, “HEWWWW, BUDDYYYY.” From my birth in the backwaters of Brooklyn, it’s been my dream to list apartments that I’d never be able to afford. Now pour yourself some boxed wine and get ready to peruse some apartments that are way too small for that thoroughbred greyhound of yours.

And now back to our original programming.

Looking for a new place to call home? We’ve rounded up a bunch of intriguing Park Slope apartment listings — take a look at the details, and let us know what you think. Lots of luck in your search!

One Classic Room On 16th Street
Available: Immediately
Price: $1,295
Size: One bedroom, one bathroom
Details: I mean, what do I know about apartments, but paying over a big ol’ G for one room seems like a good deal. Right? One the upside, there is a closet and it is rumored to have space, ample space. The kitchen appears to be spacious, too, so if you start feeling cramped in your room I propose you make the closet your bedroom and the kitchen your main hanging out area.

Pet-Friendly Apartment On Third Avenue
Available: Immediately
Price: $1,995
Size: One bedroom, one bathroom
Details: This place has a lot going for it. First, the bathroom is only a step away from bedroom so that you and that special someone can always be nearby. The kitchen and dining room are two separate areas (not quite separate rooms) and they’re both big. But maybe I’m being tricked by that visual illusion of a small French Bulldog that appears in most of the pictures.

3BR Available For “Sublettor”
Available: January 1
Price: $4,175
Size: Three bedrooms, two bathrooms
Details: The person who put this up is looking for a certain kind of person, a certain character. Ah…. a “sublettor,” as the person puts it. A “sublettor” is like a person who sublets but with joie de vivre. And for those who seek more than just the shallow joys of a sublet, there is a light at the end of the tunnel as the person is willing to consider someone who wants to take over the lease. The space is furnished, and parking is available.
