City Point, 445 Albee Square West, Downtown Brooklyn
Brooklynites will soon no longer have to schlep to the Lower East Side to enjoy one of Katz’s classic, towering pastrami or corned beef sandwiches. The iconic deli is opening an outpost in Downtown Brooklyn in April. Smaller than the original restaurant, located at East Houston Street in the Lower East Side since 1888, the new spot will open at the soon-to-open DeKalb Market Hall in City Point.
