On The 12th Anniversary Of 9/11
American Flag on Union Street

Today makes 12 years since the September 11, 2001 attacks. In addition to visiting the 9/11 Memorial site and pledging to do a good deed, here are some ways to honor the memory of those who were lost and those who helped on that day:

  • Visit the National Tribute Quilt at the American Folk Art Museum (2 Lincoln Square, off Columbus Avenue between W 65th and W 66th Streets in Manhattan). There are blocks on the quilt from every US state as well as other countries across the world, and features the names of all those lost in the tragedy.
