NYPD Release Video Of Man Wanted For Questioning In Fatal Bushwick Shooting

BUSHWICK – The NYPD released the video below showing a man wanted for questioning in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred in Bushwick earlier this year.

On Sunday, March 19, police responded to a call at an “illegal social club” located at 1269 Flushing Avenue where they discovered 22-year-old Jefferson Exantus with a gunshot wound to his face, according to a police representative. EMS transported the Bronx resident to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to DNA Info, Exantus had previously been arrested twelve times since 2009. Three of his prior arrests were for selling drugs. In October, he was sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty for selling cocaine, the article reports.

On Monday, August 28, the NYPD released video of a man they are seeking in connection to the March shooting. He is described as a male Hispanic in his late teens or early 20s. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and jeans. It is unclear where the video footage was taken.
