Now Open On 9th Street: JuiceLand

Calling all juice fans! Austin-based JuiceLand recently opened their first Brooklyn store in the former We Buy Gold space on 9th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues.

The bright space is small, with only a few seating options near the back wall, so don’t plan on hanging around for a leisurely morning at the juice bar.

The selection is quite impressive, though, with everything from raw superfood cocktails ($6 to $9) and shots of the non-alcoholic variety ($1.75 to $5.25), to fresh juices ($5.50 to $10.75) and smoothies ($5 to $13.75 — yes, almost $14 for a smoothie!). You can find the complete menu here.

We went with a Valley Girl ($5.50), made with pineapple, orange, grapefruit, lemon, and lime juices. The combination was a winner, with the grapefruit really standing out in the pack, and while the price tag was a bit higher than some of the other neighborhood juice spots, we can definitely see ourselves stopping by for an occasional treat.

Welcome to the neighborhood, JuiceLand!

JuiceLand is located at 337 9th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 7am to 9pm, and Sunday, 8am to 9pm. Credit cards are accepted, and there is no minimum.
