No Queens-Bound F Or G At 4th Avenue/9th Street This Weekend


Remember when the F and G stopped at 4th Avenue/9th Street last weekend? Those were good times. Unfortunately, we’re not going to be so lucky for the next couple of weeks. Here’s a breakdown of what to watch out for:

Queens-bound F and G trains skip Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 15 St-Prospect Park and 4 Av-9 St
Weekends, 11:45 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, until Mar 17
For service to these stations, take the F or G to 7 Av or Smith-9 Sts and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F or Church Av-bound G.

For service from these stations, take the F or G to 7 Av or Church Av and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F or Court Sq-bound G.

Coney Island-bound F trains run via the A from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech
Weekend, 11:45 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, Mar 7 – 10
No Coney Island-bound F service at B’way-Lafayette St, 2 Av, Delancey St, East Broadway and York St. For service to B’way-Lafayette St, transfer to the D at W 4 St. For service to 2 Av, Delancey St and East Broadway, take the F to Jay St-MetroTech and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

For service from these stations, take the F to W 4 St and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

For York St, use the nearby High St A/C Station instead.

Norwood-bound D trains run express from Bay Pkwy to 9 Av
Weekend, 9:45 AM to 3 PM, Sat and Sun, Mar 8 – 9
No Norwood-bound service at 20, 18 Avs, 79, 71, 55, 50 Sts and Fort Hamilton Pkwy. For service to these stations, take the D to 62 St or 9 Av and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D.

For service from these stations, take the D to 62 St or Bay Pkwy and transfer to a Norwood-bound D.

D trains make local stops at 23 St and 14 St in both directions
Weekend, 12:01 AM Sat to 5 AM Mon, Mar 8 – 10
Please allow additional travel time.

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
