The rose colored signs are a bit more attractive than the regular neon ones. But they tell the same story: mind your car because of a filming location.

Beginning at 10pm Monday, November 2 and lasting throughout Tuesday, November 3, a new series Billions will be filming on a variety of streets in our neighborhood.

We spotted the signs on and surrounding St. Johns Place between 7th Avenue up to Plaza Street West. In addition, signs appear on 7th Avenue within blocks of St. Johns Place. The same goes for 8th Avenue.

The Showtime pilot is about the financial world and stars Paul Giamatti (Sideways, American Splendor), David Costabile (The Wire, Breaking Bad), and Damian Lewis (Homeland).

The series also filmed in the neighborhood in January.

Deadline explains the show:

…is a fictional drama that takes a close look at the world of high finance by tracking the approaching collision between two titanic figures — the hard charging, whip-smart U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhodes (Giamatti), and the brilliant, ambitious hedge fund king Bobby “Axe” Axelrod (Lewis).

For the Breaking Bad fans, we’ll leave you with Gale’s (David Costabile) famous video singing “Major Tom.”
