No Parking On Dorchester Or Beverley, Between Marlborough And E 16th, Beginning Friday Morning

To add to our travel woes this weekend, you won’t be able to park on Dorchester, between Marlborough and East 16th, or on Beverley, also between Marlborough and East 16th, because of track construction.

According to signs posted in the area, your car could be towed if it’s parked there beginning at 5am Friday to 5am Monday.

MTA representatives told us today that they will be doing track panel work between Church Avenue and Newkirk Avenue (as well as rail work at Sheepshead Bay), thus the lack of the Q train. As of now, there will be track work at the Kings Highway station on the weekend of September 26-29, which will impact us being able to take the Q (the Manhattan-bound Q trains will run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park), but shouldn’t make a difference when it comes to parking in the neighborhood. At least, fingers crossed.

Let us know if you spot other no parking signs around the neighborhood! You can email us at editor@ditmasparkcorner.com.
