This Weekend’s Ditmas Park Subway Changes: Manhattan-Bound Q Goes Express On Sunday

Updated 12:49pm Thursday: We were hoping for a weekend of no subway changes, but, alas, the MTA updated their information after we wrote our original post, and it looks like the Q is gonna be making express stops on Sunday, May 17.

After FasTracking wraps up on Friday, there are no scheduled changes on Saturday, but heads up for Sunday, May 17: the Manhattan-bound Q trains will run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park from 5:45am-8pm.

Trains will stop at Newkirk Plaza and Church Avenue. For service to Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue H, Cortelyou Road, Beverley Road, and Parkside Avenue, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue, or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q. For service from these stations, take the Q to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Highway and transfer to a 57th Street/7th Avenue-bound Q.

Check back Monday to see what’s happening next week, and as for the weekend, keep an eye out for changes in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Queens. Schedules occasionally change, so check MTA.info for the latest updates.
