Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day Of Play Comes To Prospect Park This September
On Saturday, September 21, kids and their families are invited to Prospect Park’s Nethermead to participate in Nickelodeon‘s 10th annual Worldwide Day of Play.
Nickelodeon is teaming up with over 30 organizations for the day that encourages kids to get active through sports, dance, and other arts, including the NFL, NBA, New York Road Runners, Police Athletic League, and YMCA of Greater NY.
The event, which is set only to take place in Prospect Park for the special 10th anniversary of the WWDoP, will have activities for kids of all ages. It will run from 10am-4pm, and will require a free ticket to gain admission. Food vendors will be on hand, and drinking water will be provided for free.
A spokesman for Nickelodeon says he is looking into capacity constraints, but that the Nethermead will be closed to non-ticket holders during the event (and will reopen on Sunday, September 22 at 6am). As of now, all tickets have been scooped up, but check back with Nickelodeon as we near the date to see if any more are made available.
