Is New York A Smart City?

As we all know, Brooklyn, and New York City for that matter, is growing and changing in ways that those who were here before us would never have imagined. Gentrification is causing new tensions. New technologies are bringing jobs to some and displacing others. Bike and car sharing programs are popping up all over the city. Drones are flying around Prospect Park. And new apps are arriving daily to show us where to eat, shop, drink, and find love.

But where are we talking about how this impacts us all? Where can we hear from the City of New York, Microsoft, CityMD, and other places from around the globe about how technologies are changing our world in an attempt to make it safer, smarter, more resilient and inclusive?
