New York Brick Oven Pizza Reopens Tonight With A Limited Takeout Menu

As previously reported, New York Brick Oven Pizza (1502 Cortelyou Road/375 Marlborough Road) is in the process of reopening under new management. The space–which some commenters have dubbed “cursed”–closed in mid-January after a largely unsuccessful two-month stint in the old Solo space on Cortelyou (and eightish-month stint overall), but will be reopening tonight with a very small menu to start.

New owner Michael Dibari says to expect a few pies and rolls this evening, and an expanded menu this weekend (including a special Nutella pizza for Valentine’s Day, with fresh strawberries and powdered sugar) to be served out of the small space on Marlborough Road.

He is currently working on making the dining room a more appealing place to sit (as several readers noted, it was a bit bleak before), including using the French doors on the side of the building, and hopes to have it back open in a few weeks.

Michael is clearly busy but has been extremely accommodating to our nosing around–so we encourage you to stop by over the next few days if you get a chance, introduce yourself, and try the goods from New York Brick Oven Pizza 2.0.
