New Plans For 4th Avenue’s Former Church of the Redeemer Site

BOERUM HILL – Back in July, we reported that a twelve-story, 72-unit condo was planned for the site where the Church of the Redeemer stood for 150 years.

The church, formerly located at 24 Fourth Avenue at Pacific Street, closed in 2010 and was purchased by the Jackson Group in 2014 for $20 million. The historic church was demolished in early 2016.

Adam America Real Estate purchased the site from the Jackson Group for $36 million this past summer with initial plans for a 72-unit condo building. According to The Real Deal, the developer’s current plans for the building now include 63 condo units, 16 parking spaces, and 26 storage units.

The plans filed earlier this year included a 20-car parking garage and more than 6,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor.

The project is awaiting construction permit approvals from the Department of Buildings.
