New Mixed-Use Building Coming to Fort Greene & New Condos Slated For Clinton Hill

FORT GREENE/CLINTON HILL – RXR Realty‘s twelve-story mixed-used development topped out recently at 810 Fulton Street (between Clermont & Vanderbilt Avenues).

Designed by Aufgang Architects, the 328,000-square-foot building will feature 363 rental apartments, 73 of which will be affordable units, according the architects’ website. The residences will range in size from studios to two-bedrooms.

Amenities will include a roof terrace, roof-top lounge with cooking equipment, a fitness center, a pet spa, in-unit washers/dryers, a business center, a children’’s play area, and 135 underground parking spaces. The ground level of the building will offer 33,000 square feet of retail space.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 2019.

A few blocks east, permits have been filed to build a six-story residential building at 258 St. James Place (between Fulton & Lefferts Place), New York YIMBY reports.

The 80-foot tall building will feature seven apartments, averaging 1,260 square feet each, which would indicate condominiums, according to YIMBY. There will be two units on the ground floor while the upper levels will offer floor-through units.

258 St. James Place was previously owned by Zion Baptist Church, according to Property Shark, and the building was demolished in 2003. The site has been vacant since.
