New Green Roof For Barclays To Cause Road Closures

A green roof is being installed on Barclays Center this weekend, requiring some nearby streets to be closed from 9am on Friday, October 10 until 6am on Monday, October 13 to facilitate crane assembly.

Here’s what to look out for:

Dean St between Flatbush & 6th will be fully closed for the weekend.
6th Ave between Dean & Bergen will be fully closed for the weekend.
6th Ave between Atlantic & Dean will be closed intermittently.

Park Slope’s 78th Precinct says that traffic enforcement agents will be on site to assist with vehicular and pedestrian movement, and that signs will direct drivers to detour routes. Sidewalks in the area will only be accessible to residents of those blocks and their visitors.
