New French Bakery & Restaurant, Graine De Paris, Now Open On Flatbush Avenue

Graine de Paris, the new French bakery and restaurant at 272 Flatbush Avenue, between Prospect and St Marks, is now open. Though they are still working out a few details, they’re welcoming neighbors in to try out a menu that includes pastries, salads, soups, and more.

They’re making everything on site, so if you’re looking for a freshly-baked croissant you may want to check these out. They said they’ll be expanding the pastry area soon, so look out for even more sweet in the weeks to come.

The menu, which they say will change every once in a while and may still grow, includes croissants (wheat for $2.65, chocolate for $2.85, for example), muffins ($2.85), soup of the day ($4.50-$6.95), and salads ($4.95-$10.95). There’s plenty of seating, so you can stay to eat, and they are hoping to add delivery soon.

For their first few weeks open, they’ll be giving away a free cup of coffee with any purchase of a pastry, so stop by to welcome them to the neighborhood and enjoy a drink on them!

Their hours are currently 9am-10pm, but they’ll be extending those in the morning soon to be open for people who are looking for a bite on their way to work.
