Western Yunnan Crossing Bridge Noodle, 705 59th Street, Unit E
Somewhat of a rarity in NYC, this noodle soup is based on a legend of a devoted wife who devised a clever way to keep her husband’s lunch hot after she crossed over a long bridge to deliver it to him every day. The small eatery, with colorful murals on the walls illustrating the story of the soup, serves up the piping hot broth separately from the noodles, veggies, and proteins. When combined, the ingredients make for a legendary dish.

Burger Joint, Industry City, 220 36th Street, Suite B114S
Founded in 2002 at Le Parker Meridien by the hotel’s owner, Steven Pipes, this international burger chain just opened up a new outpost at Industry City’s food hall. Serving burgers in every way imaginable—hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon burger, double burgers, hold the burger—the outpost will also offer fries, pickles, brownies, and an extensive beer list.

Kotti Berliner Döner Kebab, Industry City, 220 36th Street
This Smorgasburg favorite opened up a permanent location at Industry City’s food hall a couple of months ago. Co-owner Erkan Emre, a native of Berlin, brings to Sunset Park   döner —a Turkish specialty where carefully seasoned meat is cooked on a vertically rotating spit and sliced off and served with veggies inside a pita. The team is planning a second permanent outpost at City Point’s DeKalb Market (445 Albee Square West), slated to open later this spring.

Yaso Tangbao, Industry City, 220 36th Street
And another new addition to Industry City’s food hall will be opening this summer. Downtown Brooklyn’s popular Yaso Tangbao will be moving into a 4,5000-square-foot spot where they’ll serve their famed soup dumplings after crafting them in an onsite commercial kitchen space. The original location opened at 148 Lawrence Street in 2015 and quickly became a local favorite, featuring Shanghai-style soup dumplings, soups, noodles, and rice dishes.
