Neighbors Seek Home For Ms. Kitty, Stray Found Last Month

Neighbor Patricia wrote us this morning about Ms. Kitty, who recently and unexpectedly entered her family’s life but cannot be kept for much longer. She says:

Ms. Kitty, a 12-14 month old white and tabby mix cat showed up in our backyard on a frigid night in late December.  She seemed to be lost (and not part of the feral colony on the block), but our efforts to find her owner have not panned out.

All the no-kill shelters are full, so we have given her a makeshift, but temporary, home in our basement.  We cannot keep her long-term, due to allergies.

The very politely named cat is spayed, up to date on immunizations, and FIV/FELV-free. Patricia says Ms. Kitty is curious and likes to play, and while she is sweet, she can still at times be a bit wary of people. Patricia is hoping to find a home for Ms. Kitty with someone who can help her become more trusting.
