Neighbor’s Little Free Library Now Up On Marlborough Rd.

Neighbor Jennifer Wilenta wanted neighbors to know about the Little Free Library she and her friend Tom just set up in front of her house at 391 Marlborough between Cortelyou and Dorchester.

The Little Free Library Project has inspired people across the world to set up tiny structures where books can be taken (or left) for, of course, free, and is a simple way to support literacy in the community. It also seems like a great way to hang out with cute kids.

Jennifer says on her blog, Little Brooklyn Farm:

I have had my heart set on putting a little free library in my yard for about a year… What could be better than sharing a love of reading with the neighborhood that I adore?

Jennifer wants neighbors to know the library is for kids’ and adult books, and folks can email her with any questions they may have.

How cool is this? Anyone else thinking of putting one together?
