Neighbor Mugged On E. 18th Street And Glenwood Road
Nancy Beranbaum, the president of the Fiske Terrace Association, let us know a neighbor was mugged on E. 18th Street and Glenwood Road around 9:30pm Tuesday evening.
According to the individual who was mugged, four “thin/athletic” teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18 told them to drop everything as they was getting into their car. The teens, who were wearing dark hoodies, “made gestures suggesting they had weapons.”
“They didn’t try to hurt me or touch me,” the neighbor wrote. “They took my wallet, my phone, my jacket, my car keys, my briefcase with my iPad, and a present I was holding. They went through my car and then ran south towards Ave H.”
Two women driving by then helped the neighbor call 911.
“The police arrived in about a minute and tried to find them,” wrote the neighbor, who filed a report at the 70th Precinct station.
