Movie Starring Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt Filmed In Kensington Today
It was lights, camera, action in Kensington today, with an untitled movie, starring Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, about three best friends going out together on Christmas Eve being shot all day in the neighborhood.
The movie comes from Good Universe, in association with Point Grey Pictures (which was founded by Rogen), and, according to a sign posted in the neighborhood, the movie is a comedy feature film that will be shot entirely in New York.
In Kensington, it has been filming on Fort Hamilton Parkway at Micieli Place and on East 3rd Street, between Caton and Albemarle. Make sure you don’t park there – the NYPD Tow Unit is removing any vehicles left in the filming areas (the west side of McDonald between Seeley Street and Fort Hamilton, both sides of East 3rd Street between Albemarle and Caton, and both side of Albemarle between East 4th and McDonald).
The two companies working on this film – Point Grey and Good Universe – have collaborated before, including on such films as “50/50,” which starred Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt; “This Is The End,” which also featured Seth Rogen, as well as James Franco; and “Neighbors,” with, you guessed it, Seth Rogen (and Rose Byrne and Zac Efron).
If anyone has questions or concerns about the filming, you can call (646) 634-6667.
