More and More People Living in Sin

About 60% of couples live together before getting married, says a new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. While that sort of statistic used to negatively impact the length of marriage, but now that data, based on a survey of about 22,000 men and women, shows it doesn’t have such an impact anymore.

In the study, if couples were engaged and living together before the wedding, their marriages tended to last as long as couples who hadn’t. However, the research found that couples who lived together without being engaged had marriages that were less likely to make it past 10-15 years.
