Milling & Paving Work Scheduled For Several Local Roads This Week

Watch out this week for no parking signs like this one if you leave your car on the street. The Department of Transportation has milling and paving work scheduled for various roads around the neighborhood all week.

You may have noticed some crews already at work on Cortelyou, west of Coney Island Avenue, today. Here’s what else is scheduled for this week:

Monday, August 5
• Cortelyou Rd, from Coney Island Ave to Dahill Rd: 3 milling crews
• Ocean Ave, from Empire Blvd to Lincoln Rd: Milling contractor (nights)

Tuesday, August 6
• Cortelyou Rd, from Coney Island Ave to Dahill Rd: 2 paving crews, 3 milling crews
• Ocean Ave, from Empire Blvd to Lincoln Rd: Milling contractor (nights)

Wednesday, August 7
• Cortelyou Rd, from Coney Island Ave to Dahill Rd: 2 paving crews
• Ditmas Ave, from Ocean Parkway to Dahill Rd: 3 milling crews

Thursday, August 8
• Crooke Ave, from Parade Pl to Ocean Ave: 2 paving crews
• Parade Pl, from Parkside Ave to Caton Ave: 2 paving crews
• Ditmas Ave, from Ocean Parkway to Dahill Rd: 3 milling crews
