Meltkraft Coming To 9th Street Almondine Space

We’ve got some cheesy goodness on the horizon.

Grub Street reported on Monday that Valley Shepherd Creamery (211 7th Ave, between 3rd and 4th St) is set to open a second Meltkraft, their Philadelphia-based grilled cheese cafe, in the former Almondine space (442 9th Street, between 6th and 7th Ave).

There’s no word on when the new sandwich shop will open its doors, but we’d like to take this moment to say that we’ll be one of the first in line when they stick the above “Sweet Sheep” (sheep milk ricotta, chocolate, brioche, cookie butter, blackberry jam, fresh peach, fresh strawberry) on the menu.
