This weekend, kids (and grown-ups!) can meet some awesome Brooklyn authors and illustrators at the 9th annual Children’s Book Fair at the Brooklyn Museum (200 Eastern Parkway).

The event, taking place on Saturday, November 14 from 12-4pm in the museum’s Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion on the first floor, is a chance to check out storybooks, picture books, and graphic novels, with hands-on art activities that kids and kids at heart will enjoy.

Here’s the schedule of readings and drawings:

12:30pm: Julia Sarcone-Roach, author and illustrator: The Bear Ate Your Sandwich
1pm: Tad Hills, author and illustrator: Duck & Goose Colors
1:30pm: Abby Hanlon, author and illustrator: Dory and the Real True Friend
2:30pm: Scott Menchin, author: Grandma in Blue with Red Hat
3pm: Aaron Meshon, author and illustrator: Tools Rule
3:30pm: Michael Hearst, author (young adult): Extraordinary People

Plus, there are a ton of additional authors and illustrators who will be there — check out the complete list here.
