Mau, ‘The Greatest Cat In The World,’ Needs A Home

Neighbor Justine let us know she recently found “the greatest cat in the world,” a 1-year-old former alley cat (who’s all love and no ‘tude) named Mau, but she has to find a new home for the little fella because her apartment building doesn’t allow feline friends.

After finding him at the corner of Stratford Road and Caton Avenue a couple weeks ago, Justine said he immediately won her over – and she decided to foster him while trying to find him a new home.

“He’s the total package: charm, cuddles, playful, a mellow disposition!” she wrote to us.

“I’m quite attached and have so enjoyed my time with him, and it would break my heart if I couldn’t see him to a loving home, where he could cuddle to his heart’s content, and if I had to put him back out on the street,” Justine said.

Mau is up to date on vaccines and vet visits, doesn’t have FIV or FeLV, is neutered, is litter box trained, likes cats and dogs, and has no problem behavior. Justine will send him to you with food and water bowls, a litter box, a mat, clean litter, his favorite treats and toys, a scratching pad, fresh catnip, and more.
