Mark’s Gourmet Burgers Is Closed

We heard a while back that Mark’s Gourmet Burgers (441 Myrtle Avenue on the corner of Waverly Avenue) was having to consider moving their restaurant to another location, but when we stopped in a few weeks ago to check in on the progress of the move, we were told they might not have to relocate after all.

Now, it seems, Mark’s has closed. Passing by yesterday and today, the gates of the establishment were down, the closed sign up, and the windows lined with garbage bags. No one was available to answer the phone. We have reached out to Mark’s via email, but have not yet heard back.

It’s too bad–Mark’s was active on Facebook as recently as a week ago promoting their grass fed Angus burgers and other sandwiches. We’ll update as soon as we hear back about their closing or move.
