Man Shot At Crown Heights Park Tuesday Morning

CROWN HEIGHTS — A man was shot in the Lincoln Terrace/Arthur S. Somers Park Tuesday morning, according to police.

Following a dispute, at approximately 5:10 a.m., a 47-year-old man was shot twice in the left leg, the NYPD says. The incident occurred next to the baseball field by Rochester Avenue.

The victim was taken by EMS to Kings County Hospital and is in stable condition, according to police.

The shooter fled the scene in an unknown direction. A description of the suspect was not released as of this writing. The police investigation is ongoing.
