Louis C.K. Conquers World, 7th Avenue

Thursday afternoon, I spotted the telltale tents along 7th Avenue between Garfield and Carroll: either something’s filming, or this block party is really well-stocked and drastically under-attended.

But what’s the project? According to signs posted around the area, it’s something from Pig Newton, Inc., which happens to be Louis C.K.’s production company. So is it “Louie,” C.K.’s single-dad-doing-standup half-hour hit comedy?

Some quick LinkedIn-vestigating confirmed it: Alex Starke, the man behind the (extremely courteous) Resident/Business Notification Letter above, is the location manager for season 3. The question is: will Park Slope’s main drag be playing itself?

The new season of “Louie” kicks off on June 28th at 10:30pm on FX  — if you’re watching, keep an eye out for Back to the Land/the B69/your neighbor.
